Adidas

This project focuses on developing an Adidas sportswear capsule collection inspired by Argentina, my home country. Argentina’s rich cultural heritage, particularly its deep-rooted passion for sports, especially soccer, serves as the foundation for this collection. The goal is to create a line that merges performance and style while integrating Argentina’s visual and historical elements. Designed for the U.S. market, the collection appeals to consumers who value both functionality and cultural storytelling in their activewear.

Assignment Brief.

The assignment involves designing a cohesive textile and apparel collection based on a geographical location. The project consists of multiple phases: location research and justification, print and pattern development, and final garment line sheets. The objective is to create a collection that is not only visually compelling but also strategically marketable. The final deliverables include concept boards, textile designs, a curated apparel lineup, and a sales presentation where I will assume the roles of designer, merchandiser, and sales representative.

Skills.

Sketching, Building, Refining.

Final Curation.

The completed capsule consists of eight core styles across 24 garments, ensuring versatility and market appeal. Each piece features original patterns and carefully curated colorways. The line sheets showcase essential product details, including fabric composition, pricing and delivery timelines. The final presentation highlights how this collection captures Argentina’s dynamic energy while meeting the needs of modern consumers.
